The Houston lineage is one that reaches a depth with not only the sense of culture, wisdom but most importantly a system of family that plays a part to the way that Space City operates. This belief is also carried out in the music scene in Houston as well, and the forefathers of the cultivating scene is Rap-A-Lot Records. From getting shoutouts from Notorious B.I.G. to breaking acts such as the Geto Boys and UGK, Rap A Lot has played a major role in the development of the 3rd Coast sound. In addition to the legacy they've already made along the way, "The New Wave" including Lil Jay So Icy, Tre Stanley, The Prince Brothers, and more are rejuvenating the iconic H-Town brand in a fashion where it fits with the modern music scene while also still holding onto it's roots.
