CanoDamere bringing soul back to the forefront

Written by Greg Harris

In the area of Houston, it’s a slew of artists who are releasing material every day but it’s some of these artists that stick and others don’t. When it comes to the rising talent that stems from the city, one can be very decisive to what’s going to be the next thing that can represent Space City. Well, he may not be the biggest artist at this time but one artist to keep an eye out for is CanoDamere.

Currently attending Sam Houston State University as a journalist, he recently decided to take on rapping. Seeing this as something that has garnered his interest, he’s found a deep passion in it and it’s recognizable in his songs such as “Brandy Freestyle”. The soulful ballad talks about his dreams, aspirations, making his family proud, and more. Having standout records like this one on his project, “Yes I Do Rap”, just goes to show you that Cano represents the era of cool kids that still exist and continues to push the envelope with his soulful vibes.

Although he’s in the starting stages of his career when it comes to rapping, Cano has a bright future ahead of him if he continues to go the route he’s taking now.

Listen to his material below.
