D Savage gets the last laugh on his long-awaited official debut, "D Phoenix"

When it came to the structure of the growing Soundcloud scene that was emerging, Los Angeles own D Savage was amongst some of the brightest young voices to brace the microphone in the rebellious scene of hip-hop today. As time went on, fair-weather fans went to new artists while Savage stayed down to ultimately bring forth his well-anticipated debut project, “D Phoenix”. The 8 track dedication to his late friend, Jack Phoenix shows off new and diverse styles from Savage. He’s dipping and diving into new pockets and expresses his excess lifestyle in a more mature manner. While some may feel like he lost his step, he’s only getting his engine started for something special in the future.
