One of the most surprising movements in Houston that gained lots of traction and built a solid foundation beyond the project was Wes Blanco and the release of his collaborative tape, “Baker Blanco” with buzzing Houston producer, Baker Yung. The moment ushered a new wave and new era for different type of rap artists to emerge in their own lane. Blanco has certainly found that with the release and even getting his music played on Shade 45 as well.
Coming off the release of his video, “Laps”, he emerges back on the scene with his new record, “Newport 100”. Blanco mimics a FatManKey flow over the heavy bass record but makes the single it’s bitch in the most effortless fashion possible. He’s currently on a heat streak, so expect more material from his side very soon.
