While some of the nation is into the way that some of the Southern states are dominating the hip-hop scene at the moment, it’s some states that receive more love than others. In the midst of the growth of these certain states that’s growing, you have to include both North and South Carolina of hosting some of the most interesting talent that’s coming out of the Southeast.
Two of the head honchos will certainly have to include South Carolina’s young budding star, Shawn Scrilla and North Carolina’s own street veteran Da Baby. Building a consistent buzz over the time that they’ve been putting out material, both emerging artists connect on a run off the mill record that showcases both artists sharp lyrical ability with their single, “Sing”. The new record is buzzing at the moment and it only shows how big their influence is in both states. This is certainly a record you need to add to your playlist right away.
