South New Jersey Artist, Ish Williams shines a bright light on Mental Health with his new project, "I'll Be Okay"
Written by Greg Harris
When people think of New Jersey, things such as The Sopranos, Jason Kidd, and New Jersey Drive may come to mind, but it's a certain scene of artists who are bubbling in the "Garden State". Hailing from South Jersey, Ish Williams is one of the artists from the state who has been paving a way for himself by discussing large issues in melodic form. Coming off the heels of his off-kilter visual, "Life$aver", Williams bounces back with the well-thought-out project, "I'll Be Okay". The 8 song project compiles the feelings of overcoming mental health, self-triumph, inspiring his peers, and ultimately aspiring to be great while influence to be great as well. This effort by Williams allows his story to spread out in a fashion where it's not only delivering powerful music but also having a running engine of purpose behind the lyrics he's delivering as well.
