Soundcloud has been one of the most pivotal platforms that has introduced people to various artists, but its easy to see what artists have been the most influential when utilizing the platform to it’s fullest degree. One of those acts would have to be $uicideBoy$, a 3rd Coast based group who twists up the influences of Bone Thugs n Harmony and Three 6 Mafia in a modern state with their material.
If you’ve been hearing about these guys for quite some time and just getting hip to their material with this album (like me), just know you’re in for a surprise and possibly one of the best constructed albums of 2018. The cohesiveness found in the variation of sound they deliver, the position of the skits, and the versatile flows and cadences that’s delivered, this album proves that they’re viable threats to the industry’s soundscape, especially with them having their independence on a major release like this.
