Explosive Texas Creative, HVN connects with Lil No Friends on his new off-kilter project, "Feeling Like Lauren"

If you’ve been following the emerging Houston scene, the younger generation of Houstonians are getting hip to the way that they can expand outside of the Lone Star state boundaries. Seeing this with the likes of BBY Kodie, LIX, 111Deno, Paris Aden, and many others, it’s unfolding a new soundscape that Houstonians need to get hip to right away.
In the mix of artists that are bubbling, you find the talents of one of a kind creative, HVN. Known for his creative cultivation behind his brand, DONTDIE, he extends his vision even further in his new project, “Feeling Like Lauren”. The new Lil No Friends produced project you can see HVN showing signs of making experimental lo-fi hip-hop, and sounding similar to Matt Ox, early Chief Keef, and Duwap Kaine. The comparisons may not be on point but it’s certainly ushering a new flavor of sound in Houston’s growing soundscape. If you’re looking for something new to listen to, definitely get in tune with this.
