Following the release of his highly anticipated “D PHOENIX”, which features many popular leaks from D Savage, he returns to redeem himself, dropping his newest project Trust No One. Before I go more in depth on the album review I must point out the fact that his newest project didn’t have near as many leaked songs as his previous did, which is a major step in the right direction for the L.A. artist.

The album starts out with popular songs that he’s released recently, including “Racks on Me” and “WYTD”. As I sat through my first listen of the album, I took into account D Savage’s ability to combine his vocals and the beat to bring out a more melodic side of himself; D Savage’s melodic side has started coming out more recently and I am definitely a fan of it. In terms of songs that it was most noticeable in, “Pill” and “Ain’t Nun Nice” are good examples.

With only one feature from Hoodrich Pablo Juan, D Savage makes it clear to his fans that his ability to produce a solid project without the help of any other artist comes with ease. After listening to the project I can say with confidence that I am excited to see where D Savage will take his career in the year, and am ready to hear what else he has to offer.

Check out his newest project from the link below and let me know if you agree as well.
