Orlando's own, Rico Cartel makes an instant anthem with "Steppin"
Written by Greg Harris
Staying in the Sunshine State with some of the latest music, Orlando has shown its another hot area when it comes to emerging artists that are creating their own wave. Coming out of the depths of West Orlando, Rico Cartel has been on consistent tear with his material and his new single, “Steppin” is another reason why should be covered more often.
Developing his own flow alongside close collaborators 438 Tok and Hotboii, Rico has been developing his niche fanbase with harsh street flows and undeniable delivery that can’t be duplicated. This is displayed in “Steppin”, a raw street testimony that carries a lot of replay value with its slick lyrics. While it may not be energetic as some of his other records, it goes to show how effective he can be when it comes to making more serious hits. If you’re not familiar with him already, we advise to tap in right away.
