Souly Had Floats Above the Clouds in his new "Leap" Visual
Written by Noah John
The fastest growing artist in Upstate NY right now, Souly Had has a captivating melodic sound that is gaining him admiration across the country. After finding a hit earlier this year in “Crush” featuring Melli, The Island Records signee is back with another summer vibe, dropping off a visual for his newest single “Leap.”
Produced by Medasin, who has worked with the likes of Goldlink and Masego among others, “Leap” features an ear grabbing chord progression backed by a ridiculously funky bassline that will compel you to dance. Souly leans fully into this groove, musing over an estranged relationship & imploring his lover to “leap off the edge” with him. Adopting a silky smooth flow on the hook, the Entreband artist injects additional punch on the track’s verses with his passionate falsetto.
“Leap” comes complete with a gravity defying visual, directed by Daniel Jordan and hosted by Overcast, featuring Souly rocking a Playdead groutfit while walking on buildings and floating above pink clouds. With this level of artistry, don’t be surprised when the rest of the world catches on to Souly soon.
