Flee takes the world by storm with his undeniable project, "Rated Star"
Written by Greg Harris
Blasting out of the speakers in Queens, Flee has made his name one to pay attention when it comes to emerging artists coming from "The City That Never Sleeps". As the city is erupting with new excitement with the whole state opening back up and the recent legalization of marijuana, New York City is feeling a new vibrant energy that was needed for this upcoming summer and Flee made sure to compile some jams for people to enjoy.
The new project is filled with 14 tracks that show a variation of vibes that push the forward thinking sound that Queens artists have been pushing for the past couple of years. If you're a fan of his last body of work, "Xool Summer" with Stoopid Xool, you're surely enjoy the individual progression that Flee has made with "Rated Star". He shows off that he's in a groove that not only propels the NYC sound but also separates from the overcrowded lane of the-now standard sound of NYC drill. While he's stepping out the boundaries as the expected sonics that you would get your typical 2020 version of a NYC artist, Flee is carving out new territory for artists in the region with his unique approach to the game.
