Slayter delivers an undeniable and versatile effort on his project, "I Can't Feel My Face"

The Reign of New York is a movement that continues to get stronger as time moves forward. Seeing the Mecca of hip-hop grow into a new stage each year is an interesting process to see, but it also makes way for new champions of the city's sound as well. Slayter has been one of those new vanguards that's been holding the Uptown NYC together and he proves that even more on his new project, "I Can't Feel My Face".
The title comes from heavily anticipated mixtape by Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana that ultimately never made it major league release but Slayter's revival of the name makes a warm welcoming as he ushers in a new formation of NYC drill along with some other signautre cuts. Some of the favorites from the project are his joint single "Making Up Stories" with Grinchset member Dee Aura sampling Donnell Jones and the Jaheim sampled "By Myself". These two cuts are nice but they arent' the peak of what the tape and what Slayter representer, it's only the beginning.
