Houston Are You Ready to Kick It : The New Emerging Sneaker Convention, Sole of Houston

The Houston sneaker scene has grown up and established itself as a staple for the youth in the city since the humble beginnings of the "H-Town Sneaker Summit." The guys who started out their movement in the confines of the Toyota Center have influenced two high school seniors, Filip Da Silva and Zachary Long who turned their hobby of reselling shoes into a full on sneaker convention. 

Da Silva said

"We decided to take our shoe game to the next level and put on a sneaker event. We want to make a difference in the Houston Sneaker Community as well as nationwide by influencing the style in which we conduct our event. Collectible sneakers are an ever evolving culture and we plan to do what we can to support it and grow it."

The young duo are bringing people together for the betterment of the culture that's redefining the city and they're also doing something different with showcasing some of the best young talent coming out of Houston as well. This convention will feature live performances from Dice Soho and Trill Sammy. This is the start of a new beginning that can help elevate what kids can do for Houston and it's bordering cities.
