Yung Baby Tate joins forces with Mulatto and Killumantii on the new "Pretty Girl" Remix
Written by Kolin Miller
Is 2019 the year of self appreciation?
I don’t know, and I don’t know what compelled me to even equivocate this release and my premonitions for the year. ANYWAYS, Pretty Girl Remix by Yung Baby Tate is essentially an ode to the benefits of being a pretty girl in the industry.
“Pretty girl, I don’t pay for drinks at the bar.”
Production and vocals are crisp, smooth, airy, and energetic, but leave a little to be desired. In response to this release, I am not in love with the track itself however, I am excited to see what Yung Baby Tate has in store for us in her upcoming album: GIRLS. Everyone loves an artist who has a hand in their own production, and that being so I can appreciate Yung Baby Tate’s multi-facetedness (it’s a word, shut up) as she is both the producer of the track as well as one of the rappers.
Check out “Pretty Girl Remix” to get a good idea of who Yung Baby Tate is and what her music is like. If you aren’t quite feeling it, like me after my first listen, I implore you to check out her track “Back Up,” which I feel better encapsulates her artistic proficiency.
