Written by Greg Harris
New York City has been lighting it up in the past few years with the emergence of new sounds and new artists who have been taking the internet and streets by storm. As new artists are entering the landscape for The City That Never Sleeps, its veterans thats' making sure o leave their stamp with new singles and projects. For this article we cover Queens star, Flee and his new innovative melodic project, "Ghost".
As much as the Ghost Gang logo is attached to Flee's brand, the name also represents the refined signature sound that he displays on this new body of work. Known for having wavy hits such as "SWISH/USE 2” ft. Brent Faiyaz and "NORE", he expands on the same vibes with new cadences, vocabulary, and interesting ways to keep listeners entertained. You find that on songs such as the revamped Biggie sampled single "Warning", the mystic trance of "I Know You Cheating", the bass ridden song "Touching The Stars", and the MexikoDro produced victory lap anthem, "Human Race". Given the fact that Queens continues to be a hot bed of new talent being bred, Flee makes sure to keep standing out amongst his peers with an this impressive piece of art. Hope this is a start to a new run for Flee to end the year off right.
