Florida's hip-hop scene experienced a level of explosion with acts such as XXXtentacion, Ski Mask The Slump God, Smokepurpp, Lil Pump, and more. During the time of this ascension of artists making their splash on the national stage, it wasn't a consistent platform that was following the stories of these emerging stars. During the time that these guys were becoming people's favorite new artists, something special was brewing up in the swamps of South Florida.

Adam22 owns the Onesomeshit store on Melrose and Los Angeles which is a bike shop where he also hosts his popular podcast No Jumper. I met up with him at Trap Circus where he was hosting for Cardi B, Kodak Black, YFN Lucci and Rich the Kid and we got to talking about the importance of his podcast, the future of No Jumper and most importantly the Florida rap scene.

Icynaro is an artist from Miami, FL who has been blowing up recently and has gotten major attention throughout the past few weeks. Working with artist's like Lil Toenail & Ohtrapstar, Icy is quickly rising to fame as he has gotten over 40k followers in only a week and is still rising daily.

6FT Interviews has become not only a hot spot for artists to stop by and lay down their opinions of the industry but it also gives these on the rise performers a strong platform to talk shit on. Nick Torious has followed a similar format that famous LA-based podcast, No Jumper has taken by giving artists a platform to speak while also providing tips for viewers that range from how to get more subscribers to do's and don't of being in Miami. The interesting angle for 6FT is the fact he's paying so much love to underground he's making it cool to support the rise of artists rather than catching them in a time where they're already popping.

Although, the site is still in it's growing stages, when people look at the podcast down the line they'll see how significant this platform will be for artists and creatives in the Southeast, and also how beneficial this platform will be for the sake of Florida.

Watch some of his interviews here.
